The world is safe as long as our businesses and governments stick with
Windows! (or something like that)

Unlike the 64k+ ways of getting into a Windows system.

source code and sell or distribute the results, virtually guarantees that
someone, somewhere, will insert malicious code into the source. Malevolent
code can enter open source software at several levels. First, "

What a fucking cock jockey. Just because "anyone" can distribute the results
doesn't mean governments will source their open source software from Bill n
Ben's Software Emporium round the corner. Redhat, Suse etc all have quality
control and pay attention to what's happening in the OSS world. The chances
of malware being hidden inside Linux and remaining hidden through a major
distro release are lower than my chances of winning the lottery

Wow, what a piece of work you've discovered. Here's another classic from
A. Russell Jones, paraphrasing here - "Linux sucks because you have your
choice of GUIs".

Too bad you have to be a registered user of the site to rate his fud, er, I
mean his articles.

Anyway, it looks to me like he is worried about Linux because when Linux
takes away too much of Microsoft's market share he just might have to give
up writing poorly received VBS and .NET books.

http://all-computer-books.co.uk/sear...By_Author.html

Here is a couple of user reviews of his books.

"After many tries, I've officially given up reading this book at Chapter
17 of this 23 chapter book. This book definetely doesn't belong in the
"mastering" series of sybex."

"More lost then when I started reading. The code examples do not work
without some tweaking. The assumed familiarity with the .NET framework is
frustrating. This was very disappointing."

A. Russell Jones is just another FUD spreading Microsoftie who will be
flotsam on the wave of the Linux future.

Lol. With CSS they didn't need to see the source and turned it into a slimy
mass of cold spaghetti when it comes to viruses, worms, and the rest of the
exploits.
