This ranks right up there with the solution to the "begin" bug (tell people
who send you email to not start lines with "begin").
(Dang...now it is decision time...should I take Daeron out of my COLA
killfile so I can see how he will manage to interpret this post as me being
pro-Microsoft/anti-Linux? :-)).

Not fair. Microsoft has lots more solutions than that. Here they
are.
,----
| To workaround this problem:
|
| * Do not start messages with the word "begin" followed by two spaces.
| * Use only one space between the word "begin" and the following data.
| * Capitalize the word "begin" so that it is reads "Begin."
| * Use a different word such as "start" or "commence."

In fact, it's worse than you suggest. They only tell you how to
prevent writing "offending" messages. They forgot to tell you to tell
your friends to follow this advice, too.
Hardly solves the problem, namely "When you use Outlook Express, you
may receive a message in which the text is incorrectly interpreted as
an attachment that does not have any data."
(Use a different word! Who needs to write emails including the word
"begin" anyway?)

If you stoped mentioning me I would not have to read these daft posts!
Why not go over onto comp.sys.mac.advocacy and tell them the one button
mouse is defective.

It's still legal to go .sigless.

They expect users to copy and paste the following to check whether the
URL is spoofed:
javascript:alert("The actual URL is:\t\t" + location.protocol + "//" +
location.hostname + "/" + "\nThe address URL is:\t\t" + location.href
+ "\n" + "\nIf the server names do not match, this may be a spoof.");
Repeat after me, Microsoft - integration is bad, seperation is good.
