PSAPI.dll [Process Status Helper] is contained by the Windows XP Service
Pack 1. If you did not install this yet [You can check this in My Computer -
Right Click - Properties - System], please do it, this may solves your
problem.

If Service Pack 1 is now installed on your computer, download the service
pack, extract it to a folder [ xpsp1.exe /x ], locate the psapi.dll, rename
your old file (if it is exist in %Windows_Folder%/System32) to psapi.old,
copy the extracted one to %Windows_Folder%/System32, and run ' regsvr32
"C:\Windows\System32\psapi.dll" ' from Start Menu > Run. This will
reregister your new dll file.

I hope this will solve your prob.

Have luck,
L.

You might want to check for a parasite before trying to restore that file.
And post in the '98 group for problems with your operating system.
