- Mouse won't work after XP upgrade
- Posted by JD Cooley on March 5th, 2004
After I installed the Service Pack 1 to XP home, I can't
click on anything after I boot up the computer. The
pointer will move, but that's all until I do a ctl-alt-del
and open Windows Task Manager. From then on all is OK!
This is very annoying. I hope someone can help.

For possible suggestions you can post on the Windows XP newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...lp_and_support
or
I recommend creating a support case to help us gather the necessary
information to diagnose the problem.
http://support.microsoft.com/
Select the "Contact Microsoft" link and a new web page will load. If you'd
like to submit a request for support using your phone, then click on the
"Phone Numbers, Support Options and Pricing" link for phone number
information. If you'd like to submit a support request over the Internet,
then click on the "Submit a Request for Online Help" link.
