- Netgear driver update hosed my Netgear card
- Posted by Bill on February 16th, 2004
Windows update recommended a driver update for my Netgear
WAG511 wireless PC card. The update failed to execute
completely; I got an error message to that effect. Now,
the notebook computer says the driver of the card is not
installed properly; there's an "!" in the Device manager
screen next to it. I can't uninstall it completely. I
tried reinstalling it. It does not work.
I tried System Restore, going back to just before the
Windows Update, and that did not help.
Any ideas?
