- out-dated driver "up"-date
- Posted by Hoho Haha on February 8th, 2004
Hi.
Windows Update insists on updating a driver for my AMD processor (update to
amdk7.sys; "up"-date would be version 5.1.2600.28 (xpclnt_qfe.010827-1803)).
XP SP1 although already installed a newer driver (amdk7.sys; version
5.1.2600.1106 (xpsp1.020828-1920)). How can I "tell" Windows Update about
this? The old update fails of course, and it keeps coming up in Windows
Update. I don't want this to happen. What can I do?
Thank you.
