Problems with e-mail attachments - this is an issue with
Outlet express 6 - it tends to block any attachments it
is not sure of ( which is a good thing but can be a pain
in the neck when you know they are OK. The solution is as
follows - open up Outlook Express - and , provided you
are happy with the senders identity, go to tools menu
click options click security tab and the click to clear
the " do not allow attachment, etc. box so that the tick
is not there, you should then be able to open up the
attachment.
The way to check if this has worked is to send yourself
an e-mail with an attachment with the box ticked if the
attachment appears grey then you can't open it. then go
thru above procedure and al should be revealed - hope
this resolves any problems people have
