Click the start menu. Click find/search for files. Type
in HOSTS. Click Find. A file called HOSTS should show up
in 1 or more locations. Open the HOSTS file that is
located in system32 directory. (use notepad) add the
entry I mentioned in the original post.

Microsoft is aware of the problem (finaly) with the
Windows Update site. U should also contact your own ISP
and tell them you can not access Windows Update because
their DNS servers are not pointing to the NEW Windows
Update site!

This should have been resolved for EVERYONE by now.
Unfortunately, this is more wider-scaled problem than
Microsoft expected.
