- Please Help with Activex Control
- Posted by Kent W. England [MVP] on August 30th, 2003
If it is complaining that an activex control is missing, it should offer
to install it. If it is complaining that it can't install it, then your
security settings for IE are preventing the installation. However,
content from a CD should be in the Trusted zone and allow installation
of activex. You change activex settings in Internet Options control
panel. Put the CD or web site in the Trusted zone to allow activex.
