i have a small network 4 nt4 sp6a and one win2k sp4 all
have static ip's and run through a proxy on the win 2k.
The win2k connects to a dsl modem/router with a different
set of ip address and has a firewall in the modem/router.
the dsl link has a static ip address.
After installing the q832894 on all machines the nt4,s no
longer connect to windows update the page never loads.
uninstall this patch and they work.
i believe this is something to do with cross networks and
the mydoom.b virus precoutions put in place by microsoft.

any idea other than dont install q832894 regards paul
