This is fucking funny. Sure it is better to leave investors on edge and
announce this in the morning to pump the stock back up. This scam seems to
be working out good for SCO, they seem to have everything all planned out.

Legal action on Tuesday. But wait there's more to come on Wednesday.
It's about time the US Legal system did what Germany did- Put up or shut up!

They 'announced' suing Today (Tuesday) in order to pump the shitty stock
up some, because tommorow morning is the 1Q Conference call, and they
did this so that most of their shills can ask questions 'About the
Lawsuit' and deflect from their crappy earnings, the ever approaching
eye of the SEC, and the numerous lawsuits in which they are embroiled,
as *THEIR ONLY HOPE OF INCOME* since they aren't selling eff all, and we
all know it.
SCO reminds me of a few Trolls, that regardless how often the COLA
regulars point out their lies, or outright ignorance on a topic, if they
can just get a 'handful' to believe them, it gives them enough time for
Boise, McBride, Yarro et all to ditch their stock, tank the company, and
rip it into chunks for each other and Canopy after the bankruptcy and
screw out any third parties.
This is a pump and dump with paid shills hanging out on Yahoo board, and
any other 'daytrader' sites. Trading the same 100-500 shares back and
forth to each other, painting the shit out of it, and spouting
inanities, and cut and pasting any pro-sco article they can find,
bascially there so that there is a 'Strong Buy' on screen with the 25
other 'Strong Sell'
[Paraphrased]
Most of us recommend 'Strong Sell' since it doesnt have a 'radioactive'
recommendation.

Freeride said the following, on 03/02/04 20:31:
This is getting wackier by the day. Now maybe they're going to sue two
companies, which they have said are not tech firms. And they also said
(from the article cited by Freeride):
"SCO has declined to identify which companies it has targeted for
lawsuits, but it has said the first two will be aimed at companies that
hold Unix licenses."
Since SCO are, at least according to their own story, the successor in
interest to AT&T via USL and Novell, that seems to mean that they are
going to sue their own customers. I guess that's in case there are any
left that are not yet thoroughly pissed off. That will help get rid of
those annoying operating revenues, so they can concentrate on their core
competencies of frivolous litigation and flirtation with securities fraud.
My goodness, I just realized tomorrow is SCO's quarterly financial
results conference call. Funny coincidence, that. Do you suppose they
might announce that they reached a last minute settlement with the two
(or three, or 1500 -- pick a number, SCO's behavior is obviously not
greatly affected by mere facts) firms, which included an agreement not
to disclose the terms?
It'll be a few days before the current Form 4 filings hit the SEC's
database. I wonder how much stock they'll dump this time round.
And speaking of the SEC, when is SCO going to sue _them_ for using
Linux? Maybe they can file against the Defense Dept. at the same time.

And don't overlook the National Security Agency. Why isn't SCO going
after the NSA?

Maybe the NSA removed the 7 or so lines of allegedly offending code.
