I have the same problem on my WIN98SE, but not on my
XP.. If I get it solved I'll post. If you get it
solved, I'd appreciate inputs.

i have the same problem with this update.

my installation history shows that i've installed
it several times. yet windows update always indicates
that it is a critical update that i need to install.

Update,download the update, reboot, than check Windows
Update again to see if its still there. If it isn't, its
a program you have running thats stopping you. Also try a
virus scan online, and download Ad-Aware from Lavasoft to
check your PC for spyware.
