My daughter keeps trying to type her homework and the

It sounds as if your computer has picked up a "virus". If you have
antivirus software, make sure you have the latest virus signatures (from the
company's website) and then run a scan of your hard drives. If you don't
have antivirus software, you should get some, but in the meantime there are
websites which allow you to do a free scan of your computer:

then click on McAfee Free Scan. Hope this helps.
