Friends,

I have a computer running Win98 and have on it Internet
Explorer 6. Internet Explorer stalls during the Windows
Update process during/after (not sure which) the Win98
operating system update search, never locating any
critical updates or drivers. I close down IE6 and restart
IE6 only to find the same problem. I ever rebooted the
computer a number of times to see if that would help
correct the problem.

I cleared the Windows Update.log. You will find below the
log text from my last failed attempt. Can someone offer
any suggestions?
