I've used Windows Update for several years without a
single problem. Within the past 3-4 days, I've had issues
with the "Thanks..." or already installed updates being
reposted for install. The only thing that has changed in my
system is a recent persistent port forward of the IDENT
port. I changed this based on Steve Gibson's "Shields Up"
on line scanner. Is it possible that this TCP/IP port change
is responsible for the erratic behavior of Windows upd ?
