- SUS trying to download WIN2K SP4 and WINXP SP1
- Posted by Stephane GAYET on September 18th, 2003
Hi,
This morning I tried to update my SUS server. 3 updates
were available :
- reissued Q329048
- WIN2K SP4
- WINXP SP1
I was extremly surprised (a good surprise) to find SP in
the list of updates managed by SUS, as MS stated that SUS
isn't for SP distribution.
But the SP download failed (Q329048 succeeded) with
error "0x800B0004 : subject not approved for specified
action" (the original message was in french, this
translation may not correspond to english message word to
word)
Any clue ? Do SP will be available with SUS ? How to
correct this error ?
Regards

our sus server is trying to download these too, and it appears to have
broken the server - it claims there are no updates avalable localy though
the files are there. So all clients are giving errors
