- System hang up
- Posted by Naga on September 5th, 2003
Hi,
I have got the following error messages in the Event
Viewer.
"The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during
its internal processing. HRESULT was 8007043C from line
44 of d:\nt\com\com1x\src\events\tier1
\eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product
Support Services to report this error."
When I click on the link provided for support, I get the
message "We're sorry -There is no additional information
about this issue in the Error and Event Log Messages or
Knowledge Base databases at this time. You can use the
links in the Support area to determine whether any
additional information might be available elsewhere. "
My system gets hanged up half-way and is happening for
the past 2-3 days. Is this because of any Worm/Virus or
is it because of the patches for XP I downloaded. I am
not able to figure out. Can anyone help me out or give
some suggestions.
Thank you for your help.
