- TAPI hardware for windows xp professional

I understand that windows xp pro has TAPI built into it.
Since I have already installed Windows xp pro how do I
get the TAPI capability to work on my computer. Or do I
need something else to make my telephone work thru the
computer. I am currently using Act V6 software and I
want to be able to use the telephone.

I don't think this is a Windows Update problem. One of the other MS
newsgroups is more likely to be able to help:
