TCPIP lost after Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 Install
Posted by Rick on January 26th, 2004

We have recently installed service pack 4 to a windows
2000 professional workstation.

Our TCPIP connection is now gone and looking under
add/remove programs/windows components I can not find an
install point for the tcpip stack.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Rick,

I recommend posting on Windows 2000 newsgroup for possible suggestions:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof....win2000.setup
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...in2000.general

Or

Create a support case
http://support.microsoft.com/
Select the "Contact Microsoft" link and a new web page will load. If you'd
like to submit a request for support using your phone, then click on the
"Phone Numbers, Support Options and Pricing" link for phone number
information. If you'd like to submit a support request over the Internet,
then click on the "Submit a Request for Online Help" link.
