Any tips on automatic updating behind a ms proxy 2.0 (on nt4 server)
as I think thats the problem we're having.
XP and 2000 (SP4) machines are not doing any automatic
updates. It's not doing anything.
I'm a local administrator, we use no group policies and I can
change the automatic updates settings.
We have no problems with manually updating via the Windows
Update site.
There must have been more people with this problem.

We have the same problem but with SBS 2K environment. We
have dozens of networks like this and all the XP's and
win2K are the same. We can manually update them but the
Automatic update is not doing anything... Suspect ISA
server or proxy.

finally a reaction.
I also suspect is has got something to do with the proxy server.
There must be more people with this problem and found a
solution?
