The Windows update site is not connecting to the ActiveX it uses to update.
If you have a current non-corrupted ActiveX in %systemroot%\Downloaded
Program Files Windows Update may still work for you. But until they get the
ActiveX download working again those that need a refresh of the control are
out of luck. My experience with this is that it takes Microsoft around 2
months to become aware of the trouble.
