- Undoing an automated update
- Posted by Steve Bird on September 2nd, 2003
Hi
I have a W2K SP4 laptop that has developed a small fault of logging onto a
network over the past week. I can only think that it may have been one of the
security patches that I installed recently. These updates were installed after I
was informed by WU that they were available. Is there anyway of uninstalling an
update if it was installed automatically.
Would installing SP4 over itself wipe out the recent updates?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
What update do you want to uninstall? Can you please explain in detail what
exactly is happening.
Thanks,
Lucy [MS]
