- Uninstall update components (ie. DirectX9.0a and CMedia Media driver)
- Posted by Nicole on July 16th, 2003
I just installed DirectX9.0a and CMedia Media Driver, as
well as my critical update (4.0?) from the Windows Update
site. When I restarted my computer, it took Windows about
10 minutes to load, not including the time it took to
update files. The Windows couldn't find half the driver
files I supposedly downloaded. Now, every website I go to,
the pages flicker, not just when I move the mouse, but all
the time, images and text flicker.
How can I uninstall all of these components to try again,
one at a time? I can't find anywhere that says unistall...

You can uninstall components through the Add/Remove Components in Control
Panel.
However, you shouldn't be experiencing these problems anyway.
