hi,
regardless to wat i do to fix the problem and stuff it
always says 0% complete. i have installed xp recently and
since the start/begining i can not do ne updates as its
always stuck on 0%. plz help.. its kindda fraustrating.
i would greatly apprecaite any one's help.

Just fixed the same problem for myself

right click Internet explorer
properties
connection tab
Lan settings
uncheck both
automatically check setting and use automatic
configuration script
ok
ok

That should do it!
