I downloaded all the service packs and updates from the
Microsoft site for my daughters compaq. They show as
fully downloaded but fail to automatically install. I
went to my computer and opened each one and installed
it. However if I go to instalation history it lists the
service packs and updates and says the instalation
failed. Are they really on her computer? When I did the
same thing on my Dell the updates all self installed.
