- Way behind on updates

I have a dial up modem and have not been on my computer in
a while. I have about 40 critcal updates to catch up on.
I've tried downloading overnight...doesn't work. Can you
tell updated that you are a different operating system and
save them to a cd on a faster computer??

Go to Windows Update.
Write down the updates that you need.
Then go to the computer with high speed internet access.
Use the Windows Update Catalog and download the needed updates.
Critical Updates are the essential updates, others as desired.

Install Service Pack first if not already installed.
Then go to Windows Update again.
Some of the updates will be gone because they were covered by Service
Pack 1.
Install the rest as appropriate.
Get this update NOW, do not wait till you burn others to CD:
