I go to the windows update site and it gets all the info
for updating and I click on Install Now and it pops up a
Duration feedback window but nothing ever downloads. I
also cannot run ASP scripted windows on that windows 98
machine and wonder if this has anything to do with it. I
am running a Dell Latitude laptop with Win98SE ver
4.10.2222A
Haven't done any updates since July of 2000 except for
Internet explorer to ver 6.0 service pack 1.
Any Ideas?

Have the same question. My computer is not installing
or downloading the service pack 1. It says it did and
recommends a reboot. But afterwards when I check if the
software/program is installed. It's not there. Please
let me know if you able to fix your problem.
