Not much information TimG.T. so I'm only guessing here, I am assuming you have a
problem with the Explorer SP1 Update in Windows me and installing it.

You receive one of the following error messages:
Setup was unable to download all the required components for this installation.
Please try Setup again, and select Resume Setup.

and try running Setup again.

Setup was unable to download all the required components for this installation.
The computer stops responding (hangs) during the installation.

Sorry I forgot to post what I wrote in another text
editor, However the info helped, and now people can see
just what can go wrong with updates.
Setup was unable to install all the components. Please
close all applications and try running Setup again.
The problem was I had nothing else but Explorer running.
The solution for my problem was this,
