I have had a problem with windows update. Everytime I try
to scan for updates it has Windows software update
incomplete "try again". They give me these suggestions:
1.You may have clicked No when prompted to accept the
Trust Certificate.
2.Your internet explorer security settings my be too
high...

I have checked this suggestions and everything is fine.

Does anyone no whats going on with my problem?

Brown,

Go here :
WINUP Error Message Software Update Incomplete, This Windows Update
Software Did Not Update Successfully
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=319585

Follow all the steps for your version of Windows.
NOTE :Under the "Remove the Windows Update ActiveX Controls" heading, if
you are using Windows ME, the location of the iuctl.dll and iuengine.dll
is the WINDOWS\System folder. Skip Step 2. Also, in the
WINDOWS\Downloaded Program files is the Update Class ActiveX control.
Right click on it and choose Remove. Now do Step 5.

I received the following message trying to go to "Windows update": WINUP: "Software Update Incomplete, This Windows Update Software did not update successfully". I used MS resolution for Windows XP and completed all the steps and restarted the computer, but I still receive the same error message.

Anyone can help?

Reto,

Can you please do the following for me.

Go to c:\windows and post the last 10 to 15 lines of your 'Windows
Update.log'. It will allow me to work out why you are getting errors and
stop them from happening.
