Don't feel alone in this matter, as I am seriously
beginning to hate XP, if not Microsoft in it's entirety. I
am debating switching to Linux...anyway, as I was saying,
don't feel bad, because MY XP not only will not let me do
Windows updates after working fine a couple of times, but
it also will not let me into user accounts in control
panel, and yes, I AM the administrator on the account.
Frustrated.....As for suggestions, how big is the
partition that XP is loaded on? Mine is on only a 2 GB
partition, which disabled not only defrag and scandisk,
but also the recover function due to lack of hard drive
space, even though the other partition has 4 GB on it. XP
can't seem to figure out how to use the other partition in
conjunction with the one it has it's system files loaded
on. What a piece of crap.
