When I click "scan for updates" I get a message "Windows
Update has encountered an error and cannot display the
requested page". What can I do to restore this feature?

Same here, it sounds like a server side issue. Sit tight
and MS will probably get it resolved by days end. If you
hear any different, please post. Thanks
