I have Windows XP Professional and have been trying to
get the updates from Microsofts. Every time I hit the
Scan for Updates link I get this error notice which
states: Windows Update had encountered a error and cannot
display the requested page. I do not have have a
firewall,
but this was never a problem before. I feel it might be
an admistrative function, or something similar, that is
preventing this. If you know which one or if something
else is the problem, please let me know.
