This has to be one of the better cures for "Updates not working or
installing." I found that I got all my updates to work with the Hosts
additions. Before some did, others didn't. All the referrals to the
Microsoft Troubleshooter were in vain. Very frustrating.

This one for the DNS (Hosts) worked.

This should be a standard response for "When Windows Update's Don't....."
