I posted this question earlier, but no one responded, so
i am trying again:

I am running windows XP home edition. Whenever i try
to install a windows update, or run windows automatic
updates, i get this error message:

"Device Installer Error:
Windows could not load the installer for Net.
Contact your hardware vendor for assistance."

This hasn't always been a problem, the updates used to
work fine. recently, they just, stopped working.
Does anybody know what this is?
Please post responces.
Any help would be greatly apprecciated.

Which update are you trying to installing?
