I use Lotus Smart Suite. After transferring Lotus over
from my old IBM Aptiva, (which had Windows 98 installed,)
to my new Compaq Presario, any attempt to use the "Word
Pro" word processing program results in an advisory that
Windows XP has problems with Word Pro and shuts me down.
I've tried everything I can think of. I can see on the
monitor the file I am trying to work with, seemingly in
good shape, but in a few seconds, I get the advisory,
then the Program is shut down by Windows XP.
