Hi,

i get the following Error Message after installing Win XP SP1a:
System: German Win XP and german SP1a
German Message: "Windows-Produktaktivierung: Ein Problem hat
verhindert, dass die Lizenz für diesen Computer überprüft werden
konnte. Fehlercode:0x80004005"
Searching the web -> english message:"A problem is preventing
Windows from accurately checking the license for this
computer. Error code: 0x80004005"

Error prevends from login to Win XP.
Only booting to secure mode is working.

I´ve googled both messages and had a look at the MS knowledgebase, but
all posting or KB-entries i´ve found don´t solve the problem. I´ve
tried the following things:
- all tips mentioned in the posting of Jupiter Jones ("Service Pack 1
Update - 27.08.2003")
- tips from the posting "Subject: Re: Error 0x80004005 after Win XP
SP1 update, Date: Fri, 13 Jun 2003 20:34:11 +0200"
- had a look at the "Dell-Problem", but it´s no Dell here and i can´t
find the reg-keys

Problem is reproduceable
- install Win XP to the machine and take an image without installing
any other software. Install the SP -> error
Second try:
- Deploy the image, install the SP and voila there´s the error.

Any help would be appreciated.
