- WMP 9 crashes when browsing desktop

When i want to open a file from WMP 9, once it ask me to
locate it,i click on the desktop button so it takes me to
my desktop, but instead it just crashes there.
The same happens with Adobe Premiere when i want to import
a file.
What can i do ?
