I am having shut down problems after updating on 2/10
MS Security update for Win XP (KBB28028)
Could the update be causing the the problem.
I tried system restore, worked once then got the same
problem next time.
Used the Shutdown and Startup Trouble shooter but still
had problems so I went into update and added a couple of
new 'recommended' updates hoping to find a fix. Now
System Restore will only give me the option of restoring
to just before that last update and not to prior to the
update of KBB28028!
Disabled Norton from scanning the floppy during
shutdown as well as checking for viruses...
So I am here hoping to find out if others are having same
problem and if so this should be brought to MS techs
attention.
