XP Service Pack wont Install

XP Service Pack 1 or 1a will not install.
The error message is that it cannot install the
Catalog File.

I need to know how the solve this problem.

One more question what is a cabinet file and how can I

The CatRoot2 folder is a part of the Driver Signing system:

From "System32 Folder" at

CatRoot2 folder is for "Catalog files and signature files"
