When I am trying to install and XP update on my computer,
I get a message listing things that may or may not be
compatabile, not work, or need to be reistalled, Im
concerned because it Lists my network adapter, my printer,
and "WDM modem Enumerator0 Agere System PCI SoFte modem"
and aslo Disc Detector


What should I do, just not update, Im worried this things
wont work after, i need to update cause I just got an
Ipod, thank you!

Are you referring to windows XP Upgrade from another operating system?
If so that message usually means you need Windows XP drivers for that
hardware.
Go to this link, #3 Upgrade Advisor to see if the computer is ready
for Windows XP:

Yes Jupiter- I am talking about an UPGRADE, not an update,
instead of using just an upgrade, would a full version
rather work better with compatability, and if I Upgrade,
or get a full version, do I lose all my
files/document/music? This sucks that I need to do this
