I am running win XP Pro. I didn't realize that I had done it until it was
done. I am hopeing someone can let me know if there is a way to 'unformat"
and restore the data.

It will cost you big bucks.

There are such companies listed in "PC Magazine" and "Computer Shopper" that
can recover data - but for a fee.

There is a good chance you can recover a lot, possibly all, of the data
with a program like Active@ File Recovery
http://www.file-recovery.net/features.htm

There are other similar utilities around also, including a few free ones,
but I have found this one to be a particularly good value.
