When I try to add or remove a program from XP, I get the message insufficient
priviledge to modify file- file name. I have gone on as admin and still no
luck!

You can try to download the TeawkUi:

Open a run command and type in:
regedit click [OK] locte the Key below and remove the Entry for the Program:
[-]HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall
