- All Programs Suddenly has to close
- Posted by noel262 on February 28th, 2006
Can anyone help?
I am running on an AMD Duron 6hundredsomething MHZ.
256 MEG of Memory.
Every now and then my programs close because they encountered a technical
problem E.G.(adobe acrobat, Internet Explora, etc)
Not all programs close at the same time.
Could it be a harddrive problem?
Thanks in Advance!

utility from the hard drive manufacturer to test it?
(Backup your important stuff first!)
Could be faulty RAM or just mis-seated RAM or even a bad power supply or
defective motherboard. Could even be improper cooling, dirty fans, etc.

Could also be bad drivers (update all hardware drivers from the
manufacturer's web sites..)
Could be that your applications (not just Windows - but inclusive) need
updates - check for them.
Could be spyware/adware - scan for and clean upi your machine.

Could also be just that 256Mb of RAM - that's really not enough for XP to run
properly (or fast).
