ATI graphics driver
Posted by Mike mhtc on October 13th, 2005

I keep having problems with the PC crashing at random often with the message
that it is the fault of the ATI Graphics Driver. It tells me to load the
latest drivers but I have tried doing that and still have problems. Anyone
else had similar difficulties and solved them? I am thinking of sending the
PC off for repair.

not to be rude, but did you read the instructions at ATI on updating driver.
simply running driver install package is not enough.

Mike it could possibly a hardware fault with the card if you have updated to
the latest drivers. see if you can borrow a graphics card off a friend and
see if you still experiance these crashes. you could save yourself the cost
of someone looking at your pc.

Hi there I didn't read the instructions just installed. It all seemed to work
OK though but the problem hasn't been resolved. I'll take another look.
Thanks
