Is it possible to back up files (to transfer them from one PC to another via
USB cable) when the PC is stuck in the recovery mode?
I ran a recovery on my 3 year old HP PC (which has no recovery discs). I
chose the recovery that is supposed to save files not delete them. The
recovery reached the last screen (with the "finish" command) and the
hourglass just sits there. The cursor will still move, and I can reboot
using the on/off button, but it returns to this same page.
Is there some way to save the files at this point, and then run the full
recovery program?
