- bad hard drive, ntbackup, and "no entries found"
- Posted by SiliconWolf on April 19th, 2006
Working on a friend's PC, was doing a backup (to network location) because
the hard drive was flaking out. Backup grabbed about 500k (current size of
backup file), then the hard drive froze.
Friend got the hard drive replaced. I'm trying to access what little I
saved, but ntbackup says "no entries found" when I open the backup file.
Is there anything I can do to access the file?
Btw, I thought I had managed to grab more info than 500k... Is it just
compressed?
