- Battery Power Icon Missing from Systray
- Posted by ClemP on October 16th, 2005
I have a Compaq Presario V2335US notebook. I've noticed in the last several
weeks that often the battery icon is missing from the systray (when I'm
running on battery power). This makes it very difficult to know how much
power I have left. Sometimes it appears then, after I've been working
awhile, I notice that it's gone. When it appears, I've made sure to go to
the Taskbar Properties\Customize and tell it to always show the icon. This
doesn't help.
Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, have you found a solution for
it? It's not critical, but very annoying!
Thanks,
Clem Patafio
