Brief Freeze on systems
Posted by Albert on April 3rd, 2006

My system tends have brief freeze from time to time. the movement of the
pointer is not smooth during such times.

I noticed that it happens during such time when there is alot of disk
activities, especially when I open a file. I have tried scanning for virus
and spyware, it turns out clean.

I am using a Thinkpad T43, 1GB RAM, 60GB hard disk and 1GHz CPU speed.

I have tried checking is the event log and noticed that the following
warnings keeps appearing. I wonder if it is related. When I tried to visit
the link from the event log, the site shows the message "...no additional
information...". Can anyone help?
