- cant delete file

I deleted most of a reader file from XP HE but am left with one file on my
desktop when i try to delete it i get a message saying
Error Deleting File or Folder
cannot delete AcroIEHelper.cx: access is denied.
make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
how can i get rid of this

Usually a reboot will allow this.

A restart usually fixes this problem. Also, if there is a program that is
using the file, be sure to close that program.
