Clearing Webclient Temp Files With Disk Clean Up
Posted by brbrown on May 5th, 2008

When I run Disk Clean Up, the item Webclient/Publisher Temporary Files always
shows 32kb of files that can safely be deleted but they will not disappear
when I tick the box. How can I clear it please?

Hi,
Open a run command and type in:
services.msc click [OK] on the services control panel locate this service
and disable it.

WebClient < double click it and disable the start option.

Reboot your machine, then run disk cleanup, does it help?
HTH.

That's normal to have 32KB for webclient Cache, i will not be worried about
this as long as other temp and compressed files are cleaned your machine not
likely to be junked.
